love is so complicated....

love is so complicated....
the combining of two hearts and souls ...
sometimes seems impossible...

sometimes ....

sometimes the rush is so fantastic the world can seem limitless...
how can one persons strengths and weaknesses
become our own?

why is it so hard to be nice to the one we love the most?

a happily married friend of mine said the funniest thing...
she said" i just want to be treated the way he would treat a complete
stranger at the grocery store."

how is it that time makes the rules?
time heals... but time also changes things....
and these changes can be so wonderfully nice, secure and strong....

then these changes can be disastrous...
time can separate us, almost distort our own thoughts and views....
make us feel a little lost...

timo living in atlanta and me living here in charleston...
it feels like we are at a crossroad...

six years ago i moved into our beach house waiting for him to
settle up in atlanta and move here too....

with the sale of his business falling through and business literally
knocking on his door, business is booming... in atlanta...

we have been together for twelve years and have never
been able to be apart...
we are always better together than separate...

" want you, i need you, i choose you -- over any other boy in the world, i'd choose you over &  over again. your name, your face, your smell, the soft curls of your hair.. i miss those already. i miss you so much & you haven't been gone 4 hours."

i don't know who i am without timo,
am i going to have to find out?

love is so complicated....
it's the roller coaster....
the ups and downs...
and definitely the sharp turns that you don't expect...

"I blame his upbringing. I blame so much, and I had resolved this year to eliminate blame from my life. But the way he is, is not good for me. It's maintaining an alarming unhappiness in me that I need to get away from to feel whole again. Ending this will break my heart, and his too if I'm to believe him. The fairytale was so promising, so beautiful, so achingly beautiful that I don't want to give it up. Neither of us realized in the beginning that we were fools to think this would work. We gave it up by starting it in the first place."

this to we will fix and get through... how i am not sure but after all...
we always find a way...

love is trying so is time...
but love can survive if you can hold on tight
and not fall off the roller coaster...

just have to believe...

a beautiful birthday gift...

my mother gave me the most beautiful
scarf for my birthday...

"these one of a kind accessories are individually crafted in Chicago where Gina currently lives. There, the silk is hand dyed then puckered and gathered when merged with merino wool. Traditionally these pieces are used as scarves, shawls and wraps, but their function is only limited to that of imagination. "

here are pictures of my scarf i took with my
canon 60D...

still learning how to use it and loving every minute!

i absolutely adore the texture and colors...

about gina's philosophy...

"T
here is a parallel between the process and the meditation found in creating any textile, to that which is found in Mother Nature's rhythms and undulating patterns. The perfect harmony of color, its hues, brightness, lightness and contrasts saturate the world around us. "This work is the tactile evidence I have for the countless observations of Her delicate balance between the simple and complex, my interpretation of our greatest and most delicate resource."

i am most impressed with with this new designer
who launched her line in august of 2004...

i am also continually impressed with my mother
who has always, even as a teen, been able to understand
my whismacal nature and style.

thank you mom for this beautiful
birthday gift...

My heart goes out to those in the midst of chaos and devastation.

Help Japan poster is now available to preorder in the Signalnoise Store, and will be gin shipping on March 18. All profits made by the sale of this poster will be donated to help relief efforts in Japan. Head to the Signalnoise Store now to see full details." go here to support!

2. "Those who want to help can go to
www.redcross.org and donate to Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami. People can also text REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation to help those affected by the earthquake in Japan and tsunami throughout the Pacific."

3;
$10 Raffle Entry Enter to win, affect change... This is a raffle ticket to raise money for our friend Akio and his community to rebuild after the earthquake in Japan. Heath will match the total money raised by the raffle. Akio is an inspirational Japanese potter and a friend of Heath's. He was on his way to the opening of his show atHeath LA when the devastating earthquake hit (he and his family may still be here, they really want to try and make it!).
