phaedra's birthday...

i am spending the week on folly beach with an 

amazing group of girls...

in the seven years i have lived here i have never 

actually vacationed here...

my friend kellie has rented a big beautiful 

beach house and invited all of her closest friends from

atlanta, san francisco, new york, washington DC,

pittsburg, and charleston,

to come and join her and celebrate

her 40th birthday...

with beautiful ladies all around, 

from a museum curator and a professional assistant, to a server, a restaurant manager,

sommelier, pastry chef and executive chef....

i do believe the intelligence, creativity,

and variety is off the chart!

tomorrow i am headed to folly beach for 

a whole week!

for three days i get my sister and

precious niece

at my beach house....

this will be the first time i have gotten use the house

since we converted it to 

a vacation rental!!

then for the second half of the week,

i am hanging out with friends and

relaxing!

i can't wait to eat a woody's pizza

and hang out on folly!!!

but i still dream of more...

i can't wait till i close on this house

and actually start taking pictures and blogging

about all these things i am 

thinking about and planning!!

SO today i am contemplating

a tin roof...

yes, my house needs a new roof and i just adore

tin roofs...

this house is right around the corner

from my new house

and i just adore the exterior paint color

and the red tin roof...

galvanized steel is also very cool...

charleston has a lot of tin roofs, 

i am so excited!
