what a fun sunday afternoon!
we started at my house with bloody mary's
on the front porch...
kettle one, zing zang,
olives and pickled okra.....
then we jumped on our bikes and headed to
lownds grove plantation...
last december a fire destroyed over 500 farm animals at ovis hill farms...12 charleston chefs got together and helped create a fundraiser to rebuild the farm...

the event sold out and their goal was met $20,000
the event was so much fun...
live music, great food and a view like this!
the crowd was relaxed and super fun-
we really had a blast...
organizers say the event was so popular they are considering
making it a yearly event as a way to support local farmers...
i hope they do.
