what a great idea!
since receiving my new sofa....
my fireplace is exposed...
since it doesn't work, i painted the interior
all white.
i was thinking of filling it with candles...
BUT
i came across this idea
which is quite cute...
fireplace filled with books...
which one do you think i should do?

i vote books!!!
you could make it a storage for a collection of special books that share a theme....
maybe books about fire. warmth. coziness..... it would be fun to search out these theme books at flea markets and roadside yard sales...
pick something that is truly unique to you and inspires you.
you could put a comfy rug and pillows infront of it to sprawl out on....
books grow the mind, candles burn down the house.
